Ok.. A bit lengthy but I want all to share what you feel please.. I came over this post..

She : I can't cook, wash or clean something
He : I want you as my wife not as a maid"

Fine.. nice way of love, I know.. No one wants his/her love as a maid.. Neither will I.. But there are life choices.. Let's call it "Behind The Scenes" I believe one cannot live without food and with dirty clothes on for life.. I know this is what all want, just love.. But life isn't his way.. That's responsibility.. Afterall a guy will want to eat something that his love cooked..
That's maid in no sense.. That's mutual love.. and in love you won't need a third person to cook and wash clothes.. It must be like - you and I together will do the dishes and play and have fun scratching the clothes for wash..
Simple and between the two.. That's what I would prefer.. No one wants a person between love.. And that's how life goes.. This thing of maid keeping is for things you cannot handle.. it's obvious you cannot handle all the stuffs at home.. not in today's busy world.. but c'mon you've got your inner clothes.. why let them wash your clothes? And cook for you? This leads to dependency.. Times will come if you don't learn cooking when one day the maid says "I can't come for three days" and you have nothing to eat and wearing the dirty clothes or pile them up.. That happens when depending on others and not knowing any daily songs of life.. c'mon how are you gonna teach your child how to make tea? Will it not lead into a morning when no one in your family will know how to make a cup of tea for someone paying a visit? LIFE is between you two after marriage.. Every Parent-in-law would want food cooked by the bride.. Would it not be awful to send the maid in when the old parent says "bring me tea"? Would you not want to make them some and wait to hear "it tastes good"? Will you not want the same from your child? Who will teach them? And if you rely on maids do you think you can convince you child to make you some? It's not that the girl has to cook if she works.. But starting a new life you should make decisions together sharing the workload.. that's love.. mutual..
